lundberg sculpture garden
The Lundberg Sculpture Garden houses a vast collection of 97 cast bronze sculptures by the globally renowned U.S. sculptor Peter Lundberg. It is the preeminent collection of Lundberg’s sculpture worldwide.
The collection covers the full oeuvre of Lundeberg’s bronze sculpture making practice from his earliest creations through to his most recent work. From small sculptures to sculptures of monolithic scale.
The collection showcases the cornerstone Adam and Eve, the first two large scale bronze sculptures Lundberg produced, the major sculptures Interloper and Meteorite and his most recent sculpture, the breathtakingly beautiful commission Rodin.
The collection also features the Wanderers, the Troublemakers and the Poets, Scholars and Thieves series. At the pinnacle of the collections holdings is Lundberg’s seminal work Warriors consisting of twenty-seven large scale sculptures, portraying the great warriors of the past.
The collection was formed over four years in a collaboration between the owners, curator and sculptor. It was a major logistical undertaking as sculptures weighing up to 2500 kg were sourced from Asia, Australia and The United States.
The sculptures are beautifully presented in the manicured grounds of a private estate.
